Shops I Heart: Sugar Paper Los Angeles

On Monday, Bri of designlovefest (one of the first blogs to land on my must-read list) posted about her latest video Blogshop (a class I am dying to attend one of these days so I can start making movie magic with the HD video function on my camera).  Per usual, she gave shout-outs to all of the amazing brands who sponsored the day’s lesson.  In the five minutes it took me to read the post, I fell in thumpedy-thump, heart beating out of control love with Sugar Paper Los Angeles.  This adorable shop carries some of the most stylish letterpress designs and paper products I’ve ever seen, and it’s taken nearly every fiber of my being not to pick up their entire inventory.  Can you blame me?  Look at that sparkly coaster set!  I’m still deciding what I love most.  Here are a few of my favorites:

The Bright Notes notepad (it also comes in yellow and pool green) would make to-do lists so much more fun!  There’s just something about pretty paper that makes you want to accomplish things, am I right?!  And on that to-do list?  Mailing more letters to my friends for no good reason.  This Hey Girl card is the perfect piece of snail mail for my bestie Jenn, who’s spending the next few months abroad in England.  It’s spunky and funny, just like us ;)

It’s the Big Apple!  This New York print is so simple but still chock full of whimsy – I’d put it in a wall collage paired with photographs of the cityscape and my favorite NYC memories.

These Confetti Monogram Notes (in “J” of course) are ultra-feminine with an extra pop of peppy fun.  I’d definitely pen more handwritten notes (and have an excuse to pick up these Anthropologie pencils) if these cards were in my stationary drawer.

Go on and check out their shop – what are your favorites?
